Weather Now: Warm, Breezy, Dry Today |
A pleasant summer day is underway. Today is just the start of a warmer stretch of weather through the weekend. Highs reach the low to mid-80s, with a breezy west wind and low humidity. Hour by Hour // A look at the next hours’ conditions » AT THE SHORE: It’s looking like a lovely day at the beach. Skies will be mostly sunny with highs near 80 and a breezy west wind, gusting at times to 20mph. Ocean, Bay & Beach // A look at the conditions by the coast » The storm system that brought the scattered showers on Wednesday is lifting across Maine, today, taking the bulk of the clouds and showers with it. The result will be a quiet weather day across southern New England. Skies stay dry and mostly clear tonight. Temperatures will be cool and the humidity low, giving us another night of comfortable sleeping weather. Friday brings another day of sunshine and low humidity, but the temperatures will be quite warm, with highs in the upper 80s inland and low 80s at the shore. THIS WEEKEND: Warm and Muggy This weekend will be a warm one, with dry skies and a mix of clouds and sun. One thing you may notice is an increase in the humidity. Dew points will climb back to the mid-60s, making for a muggy feel. WPRI 12 is looking for viewer opinions |
WPRI 12 and its affiliated stations and websites are currently seeking Southern New Englanders to join an ongoing viewer feedback panel.
WPRI 12 has partnered with RAM (Research and Analysis of Media) in hopes of learning from viewers through brief online surveys in order to improve its content, offerings and advertising.
Whether you watch TV every day or just on occasion, the surveyors want to hear from as many people as possible.
Each time respondents answer a survey, they'll earn points that can be redeemed for Amazon gift cards. For example, earn 1,000 points to receive a $5 Amazon card, earn 1,500 points to receive a $10 Amazon card, and so on.
