Weather Now: Comfortable Temperatures, Low Humidity Next Few Days

Good afternoon. We have a pleasant stretch of weather ahead today through the weekend with low humidity, comfortable temperatures and generally dry skies. Dew points have been dropping early this morning, with much drier air moving in. Dew points in the 50s over the next several days will give the air the feel of early Fall. Under partly to mostly sunny skies, it’s a beautiful afternoon. Highs temperatures are warmer than yesterday, back into the low 80s inland. Hour by Hour // A look at the next hours’ conditions » At the Beach: Partly sunny skies and upper 70s are expected along the shore today, with light north and northeast winds at 5-10 mph. Ocean, Bay & Beach // A look at the conditions by the coast » While most of the day is dry, there is a small chance for a brief, isolated shower or even a rumble of thunder in the late afternoon and early evening. Most of the region remains dry. Any isolated showers diminish after sunset, but skies remain partly to mostly cloudy tonight. It will be a cooler night with comfortable sleeping conditions. Late night lows dip to the upper 50s to low 60s THIS WEEKEND: Low Humidity, Mostly Dry Clouds and sun mix on Saturday with temperatures running a little below normal with highs 75-80. There is a small chance for another isolated shower Saturday, but like today, most of the region remains dry. Sunday ends up warmer and brighter with highs in the low 80s. Beach temperatures this weekend will be in the mid to upper 70s. WPRI 12 is looking for viewer opinions

WPRI 12 and its affiliated stations and websites are currently seeking Southern New Englanders to join an ongoing viewer feedback panel.

WPRI 12 has partnered with RAM (Research and Analysis of Media) in hopes of learning from viewers through brief online surveys in order to improve its content, offerings and advertising.

Whether you watch TV every day or just on occasion, the surveyors want to hear from as many people as possible.

Each time respondents answer a survey, they'll earn points that can be redeemed for Amazon gift cards. For example, earn 1,000 points to receive a $5 Amazon card, earn 1,500 points to receive a $10 Amazon card, and so on.
